I would like to thank everyone for their support over the years. It has truly been a wonderful experience performing as an Elvis tribute artist for the past 26 years. Unfortunately all good things have their season and at this time it would seem that my time as a tribute artist has run into somewhat of a snag. On April 8th,2009 after careful evaluation at the Medical University Of South Carolina. They diagnosed me with BRONCHO ALVEOLAR CARCINOMA Cancer. Apparently, it is something that has been with me for awhile and unfortunately it was detected during it’s final stage (stage 4 ). I’ve been told there is no cure and that it is inoperable. It is terminal and no one knows exactly how long that means. Apparently, it was found to be in both lungs, the glands, and a small segment in the left lobe of the brain. It was a rough day to say the least and as my wife, my mother and myself absorbed the news it only seemed to get worse until finally it hit me, (All things are possible with God ). At that point I told my wife and mother to stop listening to the bombardment of bad news from the medical staff and remember nothing is greater than Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior who bore stripes to heal us and shed his blood to wash away our sins. At that point I told the medical staff that I would like any treatment they felt would be worth trying and that no matter what they did I would be healed through JESUS CHRIST my Lord and Savior. Some looked baffled and some asked if I understood the severity of the diagnoses. I responded that not only were we on the same page, but that was more the reason that I knew that My Lord and Savior would heal me because this was just to overwhelming for man to handle. I further stated that when I had finished and was all healed, I would be glad to put the Elvis suit on and advertise on their billboard “stating that you can beat it baby” because I did!! I maintain this attitude always as I know that I’m healed through Jesus Christ and now my body needs to catch up with my mind. I am presently taking an oral chemo therapy medication, as well as other meds. And first and foremost leaving it in the hands of Jesus Christ My Lord and Savior. Of course I have had to postpone shows until I’ve conquered this disease and I will! For now, despite being told that I won’t be able to sing because I’m very short on air and have to remain on oxygen I have managed to record a gospel cd with my Lord and Savior holding my hand throughout the entire recording. I think that proves that all things are possible if you only believe. As you may have guessed, I’m now unable to work and my life consists mostly of medications and treatments with plenty of healing prayers. I’m very proud to offer my gospel cd for purchase on this site as I’m trying to save my home with the proceeds from this cd that I Know without a doubt was only made possible through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior who graciously held my hand and gave me the air that I didn’t have to accomplish this as a financial means for me and glorious praise to God the father and Jesus Christ our blessed savior for I will continue to sing praise throughout the rest of my days as I give thanks each day for yet one more glorious day. If I sound convinced it’s because I am and I know that I will be healed of this terrible disease.
